Mark Robertson

Mark has spent 37 years as a tax professional, 7 of these as an Inspector of Taxes in the UK. Moving into private practice he worked for 11 years in the London offices of Deloitte & Touche, then Ernst & Young before establishing an independent tax practice in France in 2002. Mark specialises in the taxation of artists, actors and sportspeople with particular focus on the issues arising through touring. For the last 29 years he has looked after the touring activities of some of the world’s best-known artists. He also advises on UK tax compliance, planning and HMRC investigations as well as personal tax compliance and enquiries in France. Mark lives in South West France. When he’s not working, he pursues his interests in playing the drums (as a performing and recording artist) and sampling the cuisine and wines of France.

Jason Coker

Jason has been in the music industry for over 10 years, qualifying ACCA in 2011. Having started out with Hardwick & Morris, he joined LBM in 2013 and has been instrumental in developing the London arm of the operation to its current status. In that time, he has established a prominent position within Business Management in the UK. His key specialisms include Tour Accounting, Royalties and Withholding Taxes. And that would all be fine except he remains a devout Spurs supporter.

Barry Downes

Barry is a Certified Accountant (FCCA), and has been with LBM for over 14 years, and a Director since 2011. Prior to that Barry worked in the finance department of large multinational firms for over 11 years. He currently manages a small team, intent on providing an efficient and personal service to all LBM clients. In recent years Barry has been responsible for the financial management of one of the most popular boy bands, which involved overseeing & steering commercial activities relating to the bands touring, merchandising, recording & sponsorship/endorsement deals across many worldwide territories. Alan Mc Evoy

Alan started his career in the entertainment industry over 33 years ago in Dublin. Working for OJ Kilkenny & Co for the first 10 years, he was on various teams that looked after Ireland’s biggest acts of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. In addition, Alan built his own portfolio of Ireland-based Artists. By 1995, Alan had worked with The Cranberries for a number of years and eventually left OJ Kilkenny to take up an in-house position with the band in their native Limerick. He then went on to establish Live Wire Business Management (LBM) in 1998 with Limerick as its base. Alan is an approachable, personable and solution minded professional, and enjoys working with clients and artists at all stages of their career.
