LBM is one of the UK and Ireland’s leading music and entertainment accounting and business management firms.

Based between London, Dublin & Limerick and employing over 40 people we look after the finances of some of the world’s best known artists and creators amongst others.

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Business Manager/Accountant to join our continuously expanding and dynamic London team.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant to ACCA/ACA level with a number of years’ industry experience in a client facing environment.

They will be required to manage a portfolio of clients and supervise a team of assisting accountants and bookkeepers.

An in-depth knowledge and experience of the music and entertainment business is vital as is the ability to work with a close team of colleagues.

Salary and overall package is negotiable and will be based on the level of experience and ability.

LBM is the specialist provider of accounting, business management, taxation and royalty accounting services to the music and entertainment industry.

We are looking to recruit an accounting assistant within our expanding London team.

Working within a team of like-minded individuals the role will involve various bookkeeping and accounting functions servicing a defined number of clients.

The successful candidate will be part qualified and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Exposure to the entertainment industry will be a benefit but not essential however strong interpersonal skills and computer literacy are vital abilities.

Salary: negotiable and commensurate with experience and ability

We are currently seeking a tax manager to assist with the management of Irish Tax compliance and planning for individuals, corporates and partnerships to include both the preparation and review of Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns, and VAT returns.

What will the role entail?

The role will require you to:

· Oversee the tax compliance requirements of a broad portfolio of clients

· Preparation and/or review of tax returns across all tax heads

· Identifying and resolving tax issues and tax planning opportunities for clients

· Advise on the tax implications of commercial decisions

· Liaising with other staff members to plan and provide professional tax advice

· Assisting in the development and implementation of tax compliance policy and procedures within the Company

· Interpreting legislation

· Research and monitor changes in tax legislation

· Review and preparation of supporting documentation such as agreements etc

· Communicate with Revenue on behalf of clients

· Have an active role in training junior staff members

How do you know if you are right for the role?

Experience

· 4-5 years tax experience including 1-2 years post-qualified experience

Behaviors

· Strong attention to detail.

· Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.

· A can-do attitude to problem-solving.

· Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines to ensure that compliance requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner

· Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge

· Excellent knowledge of ROS

The offer

This role will include a highly competitive remuneration package. It will be based in Limerick, but with flexibility to enable you to work from home or remotely as agreed.
