The Opportunity
We are looking to hire a Semi Senior Accountant. This is a new position, working across a range of Touring Artists, Songwriters, Record Labels and Management Companies. We’re looking for an accountant who is well underway with their ACCA or ACA qualification and someone who has a sound level of experience in all areas of general accounting and basic level audit skills. You will be detail focused, as well as being a strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.

What will the role entail?
The role will require you to:
• Tour Accounts
• Accounts Production
• VAT, Corporation Tax and Personal Tax returns
• Liaising with clients
• Client administration, raising invoices, assisting with bank account applications

How do you know if you are right for the role?
Experience
• 2-3 years of experience within accountancy practice, music industry specific is a bonus.

Education
• ATI Qualified or working towards ACCA/ACA.
• Past experience using QuickBooks online and Sage accounts production is desirable

Behaviors
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
• A can-do attitude to problem-solving.

This role will include a highly competitive remuneration package. It will be based in Limerick, but with flexibility to enable you to work from home certain days a week as agreed.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Accounts Assistant to support various teams within LBM. The successful candidate would be assisting staff members at different levels of experience and expertise. Ideally this will be someone who has gained experience in an accounting role and wishes to develop themselves further. Studying for an accountancy qualification would be supported.

What will the role entail?
The role will require you to:
• Input data using various software packages, Sage, Excel, online Quickbooks etc.
• Set up bank payments
• Raise sale invoices
• Record receipts and reconciliation of cash/credit card receipts
• Prepare VAT returns
• Assist in periodic management accounts
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts
• Assist in preparing and monitoring cash flows and budgets
• Assist in putting together year end accounts files
• Assist in managing tour accounts for clients
• Company secretarial matters, annual returns etc.

Key Stakeholders
At LBM we expect everyone to work as a team and support each other in their priorities. In particular you will be expected to work closely with our Senior and Semi-Senior Accountants.

How do you know if you are right for the role?
Experience
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience within accountancy practice, music industry specific is a bonus.

Education
• Working towards ACCA/ACA.
• Past experience using QuickBooks online and Sage accounts production is desirable

Behaviors
• Strong attention to detail,
• Self-motivated and be able to use their own initiative.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Have good time management skills, be able to prioritise work and manage many tasks at once.
• A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
• Be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
